Week 3: First prototype and Storyboard


Hi again, it's me!

Managing three projects at the same time is pretty hard but I found time to work on our beautiful Project Vidda.

This week I made a little storyboard to show you what we want to achieve and what you can expect from the game. It's a little story of what you can find and fight in the game and also some little game mechanics we want to implement like the saving in the elevator and the patience meter. There are also some secrets that we don't want to reveal yet so they have been blurred out on the pictures attached.

But this is not the only thing that I did! I spent a lot of time implementing the movement mechanics on the combat rooms which will be more of a point and click to move than the other rooms that will use the arrow keys. Unfortunately I was not able to make the movement perfectly as there are still some things I want to change.

Next week we will have more content for you and if you want to know what else we did this week go read the other developers updates. There are some juicy things in there.
