A more chill week
Heyyyooo, how ya'll doing?
So this week was just a lot, and I mean a lot of bug fixing and improving already existing mechanics so they feel smoother. I am developing a love/hate relationship with Unity. It is driving me insane but at least it is working I guess. Workflow has been a looot smother though, finding out how every Unity feature works takes a lot of time and pacience but feel pretty rewarding. Also, this being the first big project we make with OOP is an added challenge but we've been managing it pretty well.
On the outside, not much progress has been made, but, as I said, a lot of under the hood changes have been made and this week I hope that combat rooms, combat mechanics and the capture mechanic are all ready. But, updating our Game Design Document will stall a lot of the progress we are trying to make.
We have so much to do and so little time... I'm starting to second guess our decision to make such a complex game given the time constraints... At least we are highly motivated! I guess a few sleepless nights will help us.
Next week we'll have a loooot more to talk about so stay tuned!
